Congratulations to Jason Bussey, School Nutrition Program Manager for Lowndes High School, who has been named a recipient of the One Lowndes Spotlight Award.
Since the day he took the job, Mr. Bussey has been the epitome of #OneLowndes. From his willingness to try new menu items for the students, to adding the salad bar back for teachers, he has made the lunch experience for everyone better. He is always positive and kind to his fellow employees, the students, and the LHS faculty and staff!
Mr. Bussey went above and beyond immediately after Hurricane Idalia by making the LHS Cafeteria available to prepare a meal for over 650+ linemen who were working to restore our community! He also prepared breakfast for our maintenance employees tending to damage on our campuses. He is truly a blessing to our school and our system, and is certainly deserving of the One Lowndes Spotlight Award!
