Second Grade students in Mrs. Cliett’s Discovery class are learning about the 12 days of Christmas. 🎄 Yesterday was the first day back and they learned about the partridge in a pear tree. Their challenge was to make a plan, use only 10 index cards and work together to build the perfect pear tree for their partridge. Did you know that partridges prefer an open field over living in a 🌳 tree? #learningatlpe

📢 Election Day Excitement at LPE! 🗳️📚
Ms. Evan's little voters rocked the polls yesterday! They held their very own presidential election featuring two literary legends:
🐶 Dog Man vs. 👧 Junie B. Jones
And the winner is…
🎉 Dog Man, with a landslide 13 votes! 🎉
Looks like our students are barking up the right tree! 🐾
But don't worry, Junie B. fans - we hear she's already planning her comeback for the next election. Who knew civics could be so doggone fun? #learningatlpe
