Mrs. Bowen's first graders read, “Make Way for Ducklings” and learned about mallard ducks. 🦆 They used wax paper and water droplets to simulate how duck feathers stay dry. #learningatlpe

Second grade is learning about measuring and making estimates . Mrs. Conaway's students estimated the lengths of the different parts on the🦸♀️ “Magnificent Mrs. Conaway” poster (as they named her 😉). After making estimates, they measured with rulers📏 to see how close their guesses were. The students loved this activity and got a good laugh at the poster! 🤣 #learningatlpe
