Rock Your Socks

On March 21, 2019, Lake Park Elementary will be participating in World Down Syndrome Day!

Rock your craziest, wackiest, or even mismatched socks to show your support for those who rock an extra chromosome!

Why Crazy Socks??

People with Tisomy 21, the most common type of Down syndrome, have one extra copy of the 21st chromosome.  Chromosomes kind of look like crazy pairs of socks!  By rocking crazy socks on 3/21 (GET IT?) we can spark conversations of how we are all different.

Wear your Crazy Socks!
